2 years for the Mercantile and 5 years for the farm
What is your primary product or service?
Luxurious Alpaca Products, Hats, Scarves, socks, gloves, yarn, blankets, sweaters for all. We also enjoy visitors at our farm.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Before starting, we visited many alpaca farms and learned as much as possible about the animals and their care before making our decision to become alpaca farmers. They are very smart, domicile, loving animals and ease any stress of the day. We spend a lot of time daily with them and learn more about them and their individuality each day. We see them as part of the family.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Farm - We have Therapy Alpacas on our farm which makes them very easy to handle/walk for Handicapped visitors. We have easy access and the alpacas are open for all to see.
Mercantile - We offer hard to find Queen Size Blankets and all of our products are affordably priced.
