Mediation - The Alternative to the Time and Expense of Litigation:
"Feel like your life is stuck in a conclusion? Need an ending so that you may start a new beginning? (Groundhog Day) Mediation is a process where a professional neutral assists people who are in conflict to have the conversations they need to about their interests, needs and concerns rather than their positions. If the relationship is more important to you than who is right or wrong, then mediation offers a process to get unstuck, and reconcile a relationship, within a family, between neighbors, within a churh congregation, at the workplace between employees and between management and workers. The Mediator does not make any decisions. The process is voluntary. No one agrees to anything unless they truly agree with it. I feel it is an honor and a privilege to be invited into the very private and painful lives of people who are in conflict, and to assist them to create a mutually acceptable resolution and a new beginning.
"Discourage litgation. Persuade your neighbors to compromise whenever you can. Point out to then how the nominal winner is often a real loser in fees, expenses and a waste of time." (Abraham Lincoln, 1850)
If you always do what you always did...you will always get what you always got. If you want something you never got...you will have to do something you never did. Change. Which makes people feel anxious and fearful, but fear just stands for: Forgetting Everything is All Right, or if you prefer: F Everthing And Run :)
