About Hunter’s Hope Foundation
Hunter’s Hope Foundation was established in 1997 by Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly and his wife, Jill, after their infant son, Hunter, was diagnosed with Krabbe disease. Goals of the Foundation include advocacy that all infants receive Universal Newborn Screening for all treatable diseases where early detection can save the life of the child, and fund research that identifies new treatments and therapies for leukodystrophies.
