How long have you been in business?
Since 1988....23 years.
What is your primary product or service?
Buffalo Spine and Sports Medicine(BSSM) is a nationally recognized, non-surgical medical practice specializing in comprehensive patient care for those with spine, sports and occupational injuries, as well as other painful disorders. At BSSM we are dedicated to providing customized and timely treatments focused on pain control and prescribed exercise, all of which consistently helps our patients take back their lifestyles.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Our founding physician partners, Dr. Michael C. Geraci,Jr. and Dr. Frederick B. McAdam, attended medical school together and realized a shared passion for a functional approach to patient care. That commonality led them to the establishment of Buffalo Spine and Sports and a continuing dedication to helping patients take back their lifestyles.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Buffalo Spine and Sports Medicine is a teaching medical practice. What that means is that our physicians not only focus on excellence in patient care and treatment, but also are dedicated to the continuing education of themselves as well as their fellow physicians and clinicians. This diversity allows BSSM physicians and clinicians to be in the forefront of medical treatments and patient care. It also has earned BSSM physicians international renown as experts in painful spine, sports and joint conditions and disorders, serving as respected contributors to medical seminars and conferences, as well as journals. In 2010, founding partner physicians Geraci and McAdam were chosen as two of the Top 50 physicians in Western New York.
